The Double D duck hunting lodge is known for quality with superb hospitality. Folks who’ve never met before often leave us as life-long friends after bonding while hunting at our lodge location. The lodge is available to corporations in search of a fun and productive way of entertaining important clients or rewarding loyal employees.
We strongly encourage our clients to preserve the family hunting tradition by planning parent and child combination hunts. It’s an excellent way to spend some quality time with your son or daughter and create lasting memories experiencing the beautiful waterfowl game Arkansas has to offer.
The Area
Duck and goose hunting in Arkansas at the Bayou Meto Double D hunting lodge is so convenient and successful due to being located on the banks of the Bayou Meto flood basin near Lonoke, Arkansas. Bayou Meto Double D is privately owned on acres and acres of land designed, developed and operated specifically to attract large concentrations of ducks, geese and other waterfowl to help ensure a fun and successful hunting experience. When you come to hunt ducks and geese at the Double D, we’re sure you’ll leave with your limit and want to come back for the next waterfowl hunting season.
We’re conveniently located about 20 miles from Little Rock/North Little Rock. We offer clients shuttle services to and from the Little Rock airport for their convenience. Or, if you prefer, you can rent a vehicle at the airport so you can drive to our location and later do some site seeing while you are here.
Come hunt ducks and geese in the flooded fields of the Bayou Meto, an area recognized nation-wide for attracting large numbers of mallards, gadwalls, pintails and other waterfowl. A spacious, modern hunting lodge awaits you and provides excellent accommodations for up to 16 hunters. Entire families, groups of friends, and/or company co-workers are always welcome given we have plenty of room. Just remember to make your reservations fast given our openings fill up very quickly due to high demand.
What To Expect
Your day will begin with a delicious light breakfast around 5:30 a.m. You’ll then depart for the duck blinds around 6:00 a.m. After a fun and exciting duck or goose hunt, you’ll return to the comforts of the lodge for an unforgettable full breakfast. After breakfast, you’re free to get cleaned up, rest and relax by enjoying satellite TV and other recreation at the lodge. Around 6:30 p.m. you’ll enjoy a big southern-style supper, so be sure to save room for dessert! Not long after supper, most folks are ready for bed in anticipation of another day of great duck or goose hunting.
Keep in mind our professional hunting guides have over 30 years of duck and goose hunting experience, and they will make extensive effort to ensure your hunt is filled with fun and excitement. You’ll also enjoy comfortable hunting conditions as you look out over decoys from your heated custom pits and blinds. Trained hunting dogs are welcome, or we can provide them for you to further enhance your hunting experience.
